Are motorcycles furnished? Yes, motorcycles are furnished for the basic course. Helmets are also available, but you can bring your own if you prefer and it is DOT approved.

Is this the rider course that is recognized by the DPS and MSF? Yes. Successful completion of the MSF basic course will allow you to waive the riding portion of the D.P.S. test, if you are 18 or older.

What is the earliest age the course can be taken? You must be 15 years of age with a beginners permit.

Are insurance discounts available? Yes, some insurance companies offer at least 10%.

What about ticket dismissal? Successful completion of the course may be used for ticket dismissal with approval of the court.

Do I have to have motorcycle gear to take the course? No. Clothing requirements can be met using everyday clothing.
